you to run applications in a
separate window from your browser.
They act more like applications than
web sites and work independently from
your browser platform in this example.
I have opened my teams online and I usually
have many chats with Lisa on a daily basis,
so I want to create a shortcut
towards our conversation.
The way to do that.
From Microsoft Edge browser,
I've opened my teams online
and now I'm going to the menu.
I click on apps.
An install this site as an app.
I will personalize this.
And right Lisa Elliott chat,
And I just install. In a second.
The application is installed on
my desktop app and here it is.
You will notice that on the top left
I have access to the App Launcher,
which means I can access these
various platforms easily from here.
Also, I have a menu that appears
on top which lets me copy the URL.
Open this app directly on Microsoft Edge
or again I can cast media to device,
which means on a tablet for instance,
I could also have access to
this quick conversation.
You will notice that I now can go
ahead and pin this chat to my taskbar.
I can also go to the start menu here.
And locate Lisa Elliott shed.
As recently added.
Or again, locate the app on there L.
It says it was newly installed.
So when I do a right click I also have
the option to pin it to the start menu.
The tile appears here now,
so anytime I want to have access to the
app I can just click here click here.
Or here to open it.
If I wish to uninstall the app,
I can do it either by right clicking.
Uninstall or I can also do it from.
Remember here or let's open it in
Microsoft Edge and let's see how
it's done online. Back to the menu.
Apps. Manage apps.
And all you have to do here is
just click on the axe and here
make sure you check this box if
you want it to be removed from your
browser as well as the desktop menu.
So remember. PWA's allow you to
turn websites into applications
on your computer and it's a great
new feature of Edge Chromium.
