November 8, 2018
This week, we’ll detail the use of the backend on your own platform through the management and reporting console. As a manager, you have at your disposal various statistical tools. These tools allow to follow the progress of your users and to know the consultations of your content.
The backend, what is it?
The backend is the back office of your platform. This part is only visible by the administrator. It allows you to manage users, different content and access different statistics.
What’s the features of the management and reporting console?
When you connect to your backend, on the homepage, you will find the main statistics in the form of thumbnails such as: the number of new subscribers, the number of visits, the number of views and web conferences registrations.
You can set up your statistics. To do this, you have two filters. First, the date allows you to select a specific period from a few days or weeks to several months. Secondly, you can select a particular product.
In addition, with all this information you are able to know how your users operate your platform and which content is most or least viewed.
Concerning the users, a graph also shows you the last registered members on your platform.
This management and reporting console also indicates the number of badges obtained by your users. You have more details of the course on which the last badges were obtained as the name of course, the date for the last badge obtained and the total number of badges.
Finally, you will find graphs showing you the number of views by video type (Tutorials, Use case scenarios, Webcasts) as well as the names of the most viewed videos and their number.
In conclusion, your management and reporting console is an essential tool to know advantages of your platform, the areas for improvement and to understand your users. In each tab of your menu you will find more details.
